Abigail is very much a Daddy's girl! She has her Daddy wrapped around her little finger! A few weeks ago, while I was at my momsgroup, James took Abigail to the store and they bought cookie dough and a Gingerbread house! I don't keep sweets in the house to avoid tempation for myself because I have such a sweet tooth!
Then yesterday, as I was putting my makeup on, James & Abigail were playing outside. Well, I could hear the ice cream truck from inside, but didn't think anything of it. Especially, since it was Thanksgiving! When James & Abigail came back in the house, James cleaned the evidence off Abigail! However, he forgot to wipe his face, so he was caught red handed! James had chocolate on his face from the ice cream sandwhich he & Abigail had just ate! Can you believe that? I've been trying to explain to him that if he gives her sweets everytime Mommy's not around, she's going to expect it! He's so bad!!!
Abigail's playing peek-a-boo with the diaper basket. Her new favorite thing to do is to pull all the diapers out of the basket and all the wipes out of the wipe box! Especially, if she's not the center of attention at the moment!

Abigail developed a stomach virus Thurs. and has been having loose diapers ever since! She's not eating much at all, but she's staying hydrated by drinking pedialyte. So, I have been home bound with a sick child! I did get to escape on Saturday night to go scrapbooking with some friends while James stayed home with Abigail. It gets a little depressing when you've been changing nasty diapers for several days!
When James got home from work Thurs. and I explained to him that Abigail was sick he was telling Abigail "Mommy said that you've been poopy," she thought that was so funny! So, we had to get a video of her being silly despite being sick! Hopefully she'll start feeling better soon!

A few weeks ago I made the mistake of putting Abigail down for her afternoon nap without putting her pants back on after I changed her diaper. Big Mistake!! After an hour of her just talking to herself in her crib, I decided to assess the situation. Well, what I found was her diaper on the floor outside her crib and her standing up in her crib all proud of herself! And yes, she had wet the bed! At least it wasn't poop right?
Look at that face! She looks guilty to me!
"I don't know that happened?"
"Okay mom, aren't you going to pick me up now?"
This is a picture of the wet bed, I don't think you can really tell from the picture. I forgot to take a picture of the diaper thrown over board.

For those of you who don't know- we have a farm! James bought 150 acres in Plantersville when he was in college as an investment. He later put cows on the place, so now we have a farm! Grandma & Grandpa also have a farm on the other side of Navosota. So, every Saturday James & Grandpa go to the farms to take care of things. The farm is a lot of work, but it's also a hobby for James & his Dad. However, James would say-"It's a hobby that makes money!" That's my husband for you! He's always wheeling & dealing! Well, last Saturday afternoon Grandma & I rode up to our farm to see James & Grandpa! Abigail has been to the farm several times, but this was the first time she really noticed the cows! I was surprised that she wasn't scared of them at all! The cows were even following her around, it was so cute! Abigail loved riding around in the mule so much that it put her to sleep! Then, this Saturday I went shopping with some girlfriends while James & Granpa took Abigail to the farm for the morning! Abigail was so tired after her trip to the farm, that I had to wake her up from her afternoon nap! That never happens! If James had his way, Abigail would be going to the farm every Saturday! However, it's just strange for me to be at home without my baby girl now! The house & car are just too quiet when she's not around!

We started off our Halloween celebration by going to a Pumpkin Patch with our playgroup last Saturday. We went to a local church that had a pumpkin patch in their courtyard along with a small carnival. It was too hot outside for me to put Abigail's Halloween costume on, so she just had to wear her Halloween outfit instead. The adults couldn't stand the heat, so we retreated inside after letting the kids play outside for a while. Then, for playgroup last week we decided it would be fun to put the kids in their costumes and take pictures. They all looked so cute dressed up! On Halloween, James & I voted early! Yeah! We stopped by Grandma & Grandpa's for pictures and then we were off to Mimi & Honey's house. James & I took Abigail trick or treating to a few houses with my siblings and their kids. Then, after Abigail ate her first lollipop and came off her sugar high she was ready for bed!
Abigail with her cousins! Aren't they cute? From left to right: Kayla (7 yrs.) is a Barbie cheerleader, Alec (7 yrs.) is Dracula, Gannon (will be 2 in a few weeks) is a Figher Pilot, Abigail (16 months) is a Pink Poodle, & Colton ( 19 months) is Woody from the Toy Story!
Abigail was enjoying her 1st lollipop! I don't normally give her sugar!
Abigail with her playgroup friends all dressed up in their Halloween costumes! We were missing a few friends due to sickness! From left to right: Tristan is Pluto, Abigail is a Pink Poodle, Audrey is Tink Bell, Harris is a Ninja (he's almost hiding), Savannah is a ladybug & Ethan is a lion!
