"God is Good"

I thought now would be a good time to review the list of diagnosis that Abigail had at birth and how ALL of  them are now resolved!!!  PRAISE GOD!!!!
Intraventricular Hemorrhage Grade 1 (bleeding on the brain)- resolved
Hyperbilirubinemia (too much bilirubin in blood, jaundiced)- required bilirubin phototherapy
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)- resolved
Leukopenia (low white blood cell count)- resolved
Tachypnea (rapid breathing)- resolved
Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)- resolved after 1 platelet transfusion
Retinopathy of Prematurity stage 1 (ROP, retina not attached)- resolved around 5 months old
Anemia of Prematurity (low iron)- had to take mulitvitamin with iron for a few months
Atrial Septal Defect (ASD, hole in wall between the two upper chambers of the heart)- resolved
Gastroesophageal Reflux (acid refulx)- had to take medication until about 8 months old
Hypertension (High Blood Pressure)- resolved
Heart Murmur
Pulmonary Insufficiency of Prematurity (weak lungs)-  required oxygen at birth, breathing room air with nasal canula within 48 hours after birth, came home from hospital 8 weeks after birth with oxygen as needed, but Abgial never needed the oxygen!
Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO, small flap-like opening present between the right & left chambers of the heart- resolved
Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA, an artery that remains open between the lungs & heart causing a higher blood flow pressure into the lungs)- Closed with surgery 2/18/09 at 19 months!!

I wanted to read over Abigail's discharge summary from the hospital to remind myself how truly blessed I am to have my healthy little girl!!  Abigail was blue and not breathing when the doctor pulled her out of my tummy, but God has big plans for my little girl!  I am in awe looking back at how the Lord has blessed us and taken care of Abigail!
I can only imagine what wonderful things that the Lord has in store for my little girl!!
